firstorderknightIt starts as any normal session. They're told to focus and concentrate on their task. To clear their minds and let the Force flow through them.
Ben Solo doesn't want to focus or concentrate. He's been doing this as long as he can remember and he knows what he's doing. Uncle Luke refuses to let him move ahead of the younger children, insisting they remain a cohesive class. One working unit unifying the Force within them.
He is bored.
The whispers in his head are more interesting. They weave around his mind telling him he's special, telling him not to ignore his anger but to embrace it as part of who he is. Telling him he can be a powerful leader, a true match for the Grandfather he never knew.
They give him motivation and the attention he so desperately craves and has ever since his parents sent him here and what's more, he can rely on them.
He has one of his best sessions ever. Later, Uncle Luke will tell him how proud he is of him for working so hard.
Ben will just smile as the voices get louder.
